Yamaha Tyros, Yamaha CLP, Yamaha CVP Clavinova- random loud notes

A common problem on all keyboards and Clavinovas is intermittent random notes which suddenly sound very loud. This is caused by the rubber key contacts wearing, and is easily solved by replacing the key contact rubbers. Sometimes it is necessary to replace the contact PCBs if the problem is severe, or if the contacts are contaminated be a drink spillage or similar. Please ring me on 07976 515403 to arrange a repair.

Technics PR pianos – digital noise / distortion when played

A common problem with some of the PR series of pianos is the on set of high pitched distortion when playing the piano. Please ring me on 07976 515403 to arrange a repair. Although Technics have not been manufacturing pianos for some years these instruments are still usually repairable.

Technics PR series Pianos – Blue Screen / Cuts out / no functions

A common problem with the Technics PR series of pianos is the piano cuts out, just leaving a blank blue screen. This can be intermittent or sometimes permanent. Please call me on 07976 515403 to arrange a repair. Although Technics have not been manufacturing pianos for some years, most parts are still available or repairable (not all though).
